In 2019, Madeleina received a ‘Democracy Needs Imagination’ grant from the European Cultural Foundation for a creative arts project touring the EU28 in the final year of the UK’s membership, promoting the hashtag #TheFutureisEurope.
Madeleina spoke and performed at events across the EU member states and conducted research interviews with other pro EU activists. She also created sketches and paintings depicting the cultural diversity of Europe.
The outcomes from the project include a music video, titled ‘Always On the Road’, and a book and documentary both titled, ‘The Future is Europe’.
